Post Conference report

This is a first report of the Architecture round table held during the annual Blender conference in Amsterdam october 24th-26th.

The meeting was aimed at discussing about future improvements of Blender for architects users and precise modeling in general.

Like other events, the Blender For architects round table was very crowded, architects from many countries were present - Brazil, Finland, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, …- and people from many other fields : archeologs, biologists, artists, engineers,…

Ton Ronsendhal, leader of the Blender Foundation was also there open to discussion, listening and answering to questions. He confirmed that the Blender Foundation will host an architecture focused development, with financial support for paid coders like Campbell Barton.

Were also present some core Blender developers like Brecht and Martin Poirier

I have tried to summarize here some of the points of the discussion :

  • This is a work in progress, as usual…
  • All the pages are editable, please correct me if I'm wrong…
    • login blender
    • password architect
